Tussenschoolse opvang

De 14e Montessorischool De Jordaan organiseert TSO in eigen beheer. De inkomsten worden volledig door de ouders opgebracht. De TSO-organisatie ontvangt geen enkele bijdrage of subsidie. De oudergeleding van de Medezeggenschapsraad heeft instemmingsrecht op de prijs van de TSO. Er wordt er jaarlijks verantwoording afgelegd aan de MR over de besteding van de inkomsten en de begroting van het aankomende schooljaar wordt besproken.

De TSO wordt vier keer per week mogelijk gemaakt door grote inzet van een aantal vaste vrijwilligers. Zij worden aangestuurd door een TSO-coördinator. De vrijwilligers krijgen elk jaar bijscholing. Wij zijn ook blij met de medewerking van ouders bij de TSO, bijvoorbeeld met het organiseren van leuke activiteiten tijdens de overblijf. U kunt dit aangeven op de achterkant van het aanmeldformulier of kenbaar maken bij de coördinator van de TSO (Judith Rodenburg). Op de dagen dat u bij de overblijf werkt mag uw kind gratis overblijven.

Tijdens de overblijf eten de kinderen in hun eigen klas onder begeleiding van twee vaste overblijfkrachten. Daarna gaan zij buitenspelen. Of zij gaan eerst een half uur buiten spelen en dan naar binnen. Op het schoolplein worden dagelijks sport- en spelactiviteiten georganiseerd door een professionele sportcoach. Er is ook een knutselclub die begeleid wordt door ouders. We zijn nog op zoek naar creatieve ouders die dit een keer per week zouden willen doen.

Aanmeldformulier:

Op het aanmeldingsformulier geeft u per kind het aantal (vaste) overblijfdagen en de wijze van betalen aan. De inschrijving en de doorlopende machtiging gelden zolang uw kind deelneemt aan de TSO en zolang uw kind op school zit. U krijgt het formulier via school als u kind gaat beginnen. Naast de voordeur hangt een bakje waarin de aanmeldformulieren van de TSO zijn of u kunt het hiernaast downloaden en via email terugsturen

Passend onderwijs en de TSO:

Kinderen die bijzondere aandacht vragen, kunnen ook naar de TSO zolang dat veilig en hanteerbaar is. De TSO-coördinator overlegt met de leerkracht, de ouders en IB wat het kind nodig heeft en hoe dat georganiseerd kan worden. Als er geen passende begeleiding verzorgd kan worden en een onveilige of onhoudbare situatie ontstaat, kan er besloten worden dat deelname aan de TSO voor een kind niet meer mogelijk is. Dit gebeurt in overleg met ouders, TSO-coördinator, leerkracht, intern begeleider en directie.

Voor nieuwe kinderen die na 1 april gebruik gaan maken van de TSO kan niet in termijnen  worden betaald. U ontvangt dan een nota. Bij aanmelding voor een deel van het schooljaar wordt het te betalen bedrag naar rato verminderd: voor elke week wordt 1/39-deel van het jaarbedrag berekend.

Strippenkaart

Incidentele (extra) overblijf is mogelijk. Een strippenkaart voor acht keer overblijven kost € 20 en is verkrijgbaar bij de schooladministratie en bij de coördinator TSO. Graag gepast betalen. De strippenkaart wordt bewaard door de overblijfkrachten. Indien de kaart verbruikt is, dan ontvangt u de kaart retour ter controle en ten teken dat een nieuwe kaart gekocht dient te worden.

Bij late aanmelding en wanbetaling, terwijl uw kind wel overblijft, worden administratiekosten in rekening gebracht en kan uw kind, in overleg met de directie, van de overblijf worden uitgesloten.

Graag willen wij onder uw aandacht brengen dat u onder voorwaarden een tegemoetkoming in de TSO-kosten kunt krijgen via DWI: de scholierenvergoeding.

Lunchtime supervision / The Overblijf

The 14th Montessori School De Jordaan organizes its lunchtime supervision (TSO) in-house.         The funding is entirely provided by the parents. The TSO organization does not receive any contributions or subsidies.The parent representatives of the Participation Council (MR) have the right to approve the price of the TSO. Annual accountability is given to the Participation Council regarding the use of the income, and the budget for the upcoming school year is discussed.The TSO is made possible four times a week through the dedicated efforts of our regular TSO staff. They are supervised by a TSO coordinator. The TSO-staff members receive training each year.

During the lunch break, children eat in their own classroom under the supervision of two regular staff members. Afterward, they go outside to play. Or they can first play outside for half an hour and then return inside. On the schoolyard, daily sports and games activities are organized by a professional sports coach. There is also an arts and crafts club led by a children's coach.

Inclusive Education and TSO

Children who require special attention can also attend the TSO, provided it is safe and manageable. The TSO coordinator consults with the teacher, parents, and internal coordinator to determine what the child needs and how this can be organized. If suitable supervision cannot be provided and an unsafe or unmanageable situation arises, it may be decided that the child can no longer participate in the TSO. This decision is made in consultation with the parents, TSO coordinator, teacher, internal coordinator, and management.

Registration and Payment

On the registration form, you indicate the number of (regular) lunch break days per child and your preferred payment method. The registration and the continuous authorization apply as long as your child participates in the TSO and remains at the school. You will receive the form from the school when your child starts. There is a box by the front door where TSO registration forms are available, or you can download it from the school website and email it to the TSO coordinator.

TSO Rates for the 2024-2025 School Year

€2.65 daily price

€400 per school year for 4 times a week

€300 per school year for 3 times a week

You can choose to pay in one installment or in three terms.If you prefer to pay in three installments, the schedule is as follows:

For new children starting after April 1st, payment cannot be made in installments. You will receive an invoice. If your child joins for part of the school year, the amount to be paid will be reduced proportionally: for each week, 1/39th of the annual fee will be calculated.

 

Card for occasional lunchtime supervision 

Occasional (extra) lunch breaks are possible. A lunchtime voucher-card for eight times costs €22 and is available at the school administration or from the TSO coordinator.

Please pay with the exact amount. The strip card will be kept by the lunch break staff. Once the card is used up, it will be returned to you for verification and to indicate that a new card must be purchased.

Late registration and non-payment while your child still attends the TSO will result in administrative fees and may lead to your child being excluded from the lunch break, in consultation with the school management.

We would like to bring to your attention that, under certain conditions, you can receive a contribution toward the TSO costs through DWI: the schoolchildren's allowance.
